Your wedding dress,  might just be the most exciting and most anticipated part of your wedding planning experience and easily the most stressful. You can't actually get married with out a dress right? You have to wear something!  Some Brides have been channeling their inner Disney Princess and trying desperately to find some adult way to express themselves. The expression of your inner Disney diva is hard because lets be honest while we love Cinderella and the lot of them, none of us actually want to look like Cinderella. Even if you are not into the whole super frilly Cinderella thing, there is some part of you that is excited about the look on your lovey's face as you walk down the isle and they see you for the first time. All eyes will be on you. Now before you grab the paper bag and start hyperventilating, we have you covered. Here are five places to purchasing the wedding dress of your dreams with out breaking the bank.

Etsy. While appearing in an episode of "Say Yes to the Dress" and the shopping experience of Kleinfelds might be your dream, your reality might not be able to fund such grand desires. The struggle to spend endless amounts of resources on a wedding dress for some is huge. Off the Rack. This literally means a dress that came off the rack and you get to walk out of the store with it. Look to your local Bridal shops to see when they are having sales, deals and promotions. These are awesome opportunities to rub elbows, hopefully nicely, with other brides in search of the dress of your dreams. Do your research ahead of time knowing what silhouettes of dresses you like and what actually looks good on your body type. Look on the web or call if the shop does not have a webpage to see what designers the store carries. This way you can formulate a plan and know what you are looking for. Keep in mind you may need to be flexible as other brides might have the same plan as you do.

Goodwill/Second Hand Shops. Before you gasp and perhaps throw up a little in your mouth at the thought of a used Bridal gown, hold tight. These less than ideal locations might just be the place to score the wedding dress of your dreams while spending next to nothing. Even if the dress that you find might not be your style a local tailor/dressmaker can work their magic and make it the dress you have always wanted. Remember the scene in 27 Dresses where the younger sister cuts up her mothers wedding dress and puts portions of it on hers?  You could be well on your to recreating this scene with this dress finding option.

Online Garage Sales. These are all the rage. Just look on the right hand side of your FaceBook page and you will see local listings for online buy/selling sites. There will be more opportunities than you ever thought possible to find a good portion of things that you are looking for.  It is also an awesome way to get rid of the things that you no longer need. If you keep one eye on these sites you might just get lucky and score an awesome never worn or mint condition wedding dress that someone is no longer in need of. They get rid of it and you are blessed with an epic dress, even if it need to be altered a bit, you are still ahead of the game.

EbayEbay is another way to grab either brand new or gently used Bridal gowns for a reasonable price. You name it, it can probably be found here. Where would be with this awesome place.

With any of these options it is good to heed the following warnings.

-With all these awesome ideas they are not with out their risks. When you purchase from a Bridal shop they are trained and skilled at all things Bridal. You also have the ability to have greater communication and peace of mind because it is a store you can actually walk into.

-Watch ratings of the sellers on online shops.  Make sure they have a high rating, lots of positive feedback, and a way to contact them easily. This will make purchasing a dress from them much easier.

-If you are purchasing from an online garage sale watch the site to make sure others have not had problems with the person you want to buy the dress from.  Always meet in a public place and bring a buddy. Never go alone.

-If you purchase a dress "off the rack" that usually means "as is". As you are looking at the dress inspect it carefully so you know what you are getting.

As always if you are still stumped the best thing to do is hire a Wedding Planner that can help you with all your needs.

It may have been 2002 but a new trend of colorful bridal gowns emerged. Thank you Gwen Stefani for this beautiful, chic trend to follow in your steps and even put our own spin on.
